How to Get GRIHA Certification (Step-by-Step Guide) 

 1️⃣ Register Your Project with GRIHA

Go to grihaindia.org, fill in your project details such as type, size, and location, as well as your plans. Key documents required include architectural drawings, site plans showing the layout of buildings on a plot, and energy models, which are computer simulations of power use. After paying the fees, you will receive a unique GRIHA ID.

 

 

2️⃣ Submit Preliminary Building Documents

GRIHA will review your architectural plans, energy models, environmental impact reports, and your water and waste management strategies.

 

Implement GRIHA Requirements

While constructing your project, install energy-efficient lighting systems and low-flow fixtures, logging serial numbers for quality assurance. Opt for sustainable materials like recycled steel or bamboo and test each system to meet standards. Take detailed photos at each stage of completion to document your progress.
